We asked seventh grader Max Maizel why he voted for soccer, and he explained, “Because I play it the most. I’ve played it since I was a kid, and it’s my most competitive sport.” We also asked another seventh grader, Cooper Stanek, why he chose football and he said, “I like football because I like running and I’m good at it and I’ve been playing since I was like four years old.” Both Max and Cooper agreed that for both of their sports, their favorite part was scoring goals/touchdowns. And while opinions may vary about what exactly the best sport is, realistically, the best sport is always the one a person enjoys participating in the most.
